Hard to believe that the 2013 season will be starting in no less than 15 minutes. I always thought practice was part of the season, they're still playing and shortly after practice ends baseball will start. I am pretty bummed that this year's opening day won't be in Baltimore, I just don't understand why. The Orioles played their last game vs. the rays (who they are playing opening day) which was at the rays and now they are starting in the same place. At least they don't have to travel far from Sarasota.
The Braves are thinking about changing their name or at least that's what the Public Service announced. I don't really think that'd be a good idea. That means the fans have to buy all new jerseys and hats if they were to. I think they'd be a little rowdy, especially after that playoff call and all the bottles being thrown down, though I thought it was pretty good when a bottle hit a security guard on the head. I don't know if they'd change it to a previous name, such as the firecrackers, crackers, champions, or firemen, but I think they all sound pretty lame if you ask me.
So get ready, grab your hats, your jerseys and foam fingers cause baseball will be here in two minutes! Goodbye offseason!
