The Sad, Yet True Story To Baseball
There is a story behind baseball, or well at least I think. Here's how it goes.
Every day, fans spend millions of dollars on cheesy souvenir cups, jerseys, hats and overpriced food without even knowing it. Every where you cannot escape the extreme fandom of symbols slapped on to anything if not everything. We as fans pay for (in some cases) overpriced seats where you cannot even view anything. We as a society cannot tell the difference between a corrupt team and a team that is deserving. We always follow people and choose the team they're in to so we won't be beat up and judged. Dare to be different. Choose the underdog.
We as fans get competitive even more than the sports side of a fandom. We threaten, we slash and in some cases even fight. But guess what- we cannot control the way a ball goes, the knuckleball, the underhand throw all make no difference. All of these teams are different, yet the same.
