The Orioles' Season Isn't Over... Yet
Now most people I talk to (family member wise) tell me "There's always next year" "they were just lucky". Just because the Red Sox got the title already doesn't mean the Orioles are already out of it. Why do people always assume that? I really wish the Orioles defined themselves this year, the predictions that stated they'd end up in 4th place. I never understood those. The Blue Jays just because the bought up the whole free agency got reviewed for 2nd and the Orioles who actually did something worth while end up in 4th place for the review.
Now as a fan, you have NO idea how frustrating that is. The Orioles are competing in the most competitive division in both leagues combined. Give them a break! How would you feel after your team gets in the play-offs for the first time in over 35 years to have them predicted for 4th place just because the yankees were good year after year and the Red Sox just got a rough start in the 2012 season. Or a steroid-user to cause the Orioles to be knocked out of the Play-offs. There's nothing you can do about that though. You can't just replay the series or anything.
What makes the Orioles so non-deserving. They try so hard. I swear the MLB corporation makes their schedule so hard just so they can loose. What? Having to play the Rays, Red Sox and yankees all next to each other isn't on purpose? There are teams that just have to play "easy teams" such as the Astros and Mariners. The Orioles don't get that! I just don't understand!
