Goodbye, Jim Johnson We'll Miss You...

The Orioles for once did the right thing a chose to go away with Jim Johnson. To the Athletics as far away as possible in a different time zone. So, ha. From what I heard the Orioles were able to acquire second baseman, Jemile Weeks. The Orioles were in need of a permanent position so it was perfect. Now, if they could get rid of Roberts maybe that will cut some money that they can put toward the pitching staff. The Sun claims that this move was "a terrible choice" but I am trying to remain optimistic. The defensive's good, it's just Johnson blew way too many games that could of been wins. It was only his fault and some others... I don't think it was going to get better any time soon...
Now, let's take a look at Weeks stats:

Age- 26
Young. That's good because Johnson wasn't.
RBI- 80
That's alright... better than Johnson's missed saves
Homeruns- 4
Ehhh... It's playable. It's always good to have a few 2nd baseman. Maybe this will be "his year"
like Davis' was last season.

Let's remind you he never played last year in the majors with the Athletics. But he did in the minors. Maybe the Orioles should work him up in the minors and then see how it goes. Always remain optimistic.
