Since these teams are so close to each other, half the series was played at Nationals Park and the other half at Camden Yards.
All the games won were very close games and the Orioles should be lucky that they actually won. It's the same people striking out and the same people hitting the ball out of the park. Not going to mention any names. They're the people who only get judged on their walk off home runs.
Oh, great. The Orioles are facing the yankees next. Jimenez is pitching the first game against Kuroda. You know this is going to be an automatic loss. Not going to surrender to these mighty yankees yet because who's in first place? That's right the Orioles. But it probably won't be the same at the end of August. Going to the playoffs again would be nice. But I don't have high expectations. As a guy on MLB network said, "I love the Orioles' defense but I don't see how they pull through with their offense," It's actually true. The pitchers experiment by trial and error. I feel they just need to work on get key pitchers by spending a little bit of money and keep the defense they've got right now and some replacements for those who go on the disabled list and maybe they could make the Orioles work come the 2015 season.
