The Orioles only had to travel a whopping 48 minutes to St. Petersburg (where Tropicana Field, the Rays home lies) for opening day.

Here's the projected position each player will play (thanks, www.orioles.com)

1st Base- Chris Davis (but Pearce had to cover for opening day because Davis owed one game from the drug suspension)
2nd Base- Jonathan Schoop
3rd Base- Manny Machado
Shortstop- Ryan Flaherty (until J.J. Hardy returns from the 15-day disabled list)
Catcher- Caleb Joseph (at least until Wieters returns from Tommy John surgery, which is expected to be Saturday at the earliest)
Left Field- Alejandro De Aza
Center Field- Adam Jones
Right Field- Travis Snider (big shoes to fill, following Markakis)
Designated Hitter- Delmon Young/Steve Pearce

1. Chris Tillman
2. Wei-Yin Chen
3. Miguel Gonzalez
4. Bud Norris
5. Ubaldo Jimenez (for someone who lost almost every spring training game, why do they even bother giving him the chance?)
