(As mentioned earlier, I was waiting to write this post because of the Ranger's series that was yet to be finished. I thought on 6/30 that it was the last game of the series, but it turns out they only played two and it is also a four game series. The Rangers scores will be posted up Friday, July 3rd)
CURRENT STANDINGS*
Orioles 41-36
Rays 42-37
Yankees 41-37
Blue Jays 41-38
Boston 36-48
*These standings include the two games the Orioles have played so far against the Rangers.
COMMENTS:
I didn't realize how bad the Blue Jays and Red Sox were doing until now. I had heard about the Blue Jays going on a winning spree and some of the games the Orioles played against them went horrible (as in it went horrible for the Orioles, not the Blue Jays). As for the Red Sox, I knew they were doing bad, since the Orioles won against them multiple times but I assumed it wasn't going that since they have a fair amount of good players (including the Orioles' De Aza (who recently got traded over there and I'm a little mad about it))
