Orioles vs. Rays

Note: At the start of Labor Day, means school is around the corner. Meaning updates will appear less often on this blog. All of the series that the Orioles play from here on out, will be written on the weekends (hopefully). Hope you all have a nice final weekend of summer!

Orioles vs. Rays
Game 1 LOST 3-6
Game 2 LOST 2-11
Game 3 WON 7-6

COMMENTS:
Chris Davis now leads Major League Baseball with 40 home runs, Nelson Cruz trailing behind with 39.

Today (for real this time), is the 20th anniversary of Cal Ripken Jr.'s 2,131st consecutive game or when he surpassed Lou Gehrig in the Iron Man Record.

Above is a picture of Cal Ripken Jr. hitting a home run for game 2,131.

Although someone will probably surpass the record another 20 years later, today will still mark a day that Cal Ripken should be remembered for his devotion and perseverance in baseball. He is an inspiration for all aspiring and even professional baseball players today. Thank you, Cal.
