Machado, Hardy and Jones Each Bring Home Gold Gloves

Ha. Ha. Ha. Not one yankee received an award. *applauds* it's about time NO ONE recognized them for their "drug" work.

I watched the live show just in time to see Hardy picked for the award, but I did miss Jones though. I was really happy to see Machado take home the award for 3rd base instead of Beltran. I thought Beltran had a good chance, but... nor Wieters, Davis or Markakis took home an award but that's alright at least half made it and I'm pretty sure most likely Davis will receive a much higher honor, the Triple Crown. He did have some good base work with Machado, but really it was more of his bat than his glove not trying to say he's a bad first baseman... but he's much more better in bat work.
For both Jones and Hardy, this is their 2nd consecutive year receiving the award in their position. For Machado this is his first. But I am sure since this is the peek of his career there will be more where that came from. Machado is now placed on the ballot I believe as the hosts of the award ceremony said for a much higher honor for a platinum gold glove. Hopefully all three players will become like Brooks Robinson with a grand-total of 16 golden gloves. As I was told at the Orioles ballpark tour he started giving them away as gifts- they are not a thing you can just have 16 of in your house. He donated two to Camden Yards.
Machado, Jones and Hardy will receive their gloves on opening day next year.
