Orioles Decline Offers to McLouth, Roberts and Hammel

The Orioles just announced that they refused to give offers to Roberts, McLouth and Hammel who all's contracts have expired.
It is still possible though that if no other team signed any of the players they'll tender the option and find agreement to a contract which is possible- but not likely.
I am in between whether or not Roberts... he was a pretty stellar hitter but he's gotten a lot more older and I think he should just retire rather then to just get injured again. He might as well make this is last season and the Orioles keep him so he doesn't switch teams for a year and then retires... I think that if you've been with a team for a certain amount of time you should stay with them sort of like what Chipper Jones did especially if you get to an old age. Roberts has only been with the Orioles for his whole career, and to just switch off to another team after that other team gave you multiple chances to get better is just not right.
