Down With the Pinstripes

Looking ahead of the game, anyone would of guessed the yankees would soon burn out. Fans thought the thirteenth hour would never come but it has. Have we entered into the fall of the great yankees empire?
So, yet again the Orioles are predicted for last. The yankees yet again second place. There's something wrong with these sports critics. They always pick the same standings yearly and it seems as though the only space left is last place. The yankees I have a feeling are going to be a real disappointment this year. No, not because I hate them (well partially) but last year was something different. Take the 2013 season and subtract Granderson, Cano, Rivera, Pettite and probably most likely Jeter and of course who could forget Rodriguez the drug addict. I don't think anything will be the same again. They did get some big names but sometimes that kind of money can get to your head. This year might be different.

The game's unfair and I feel like the yankees need to have a taste of that world. Calls not going their way, close games lost, a missed catch- because that's what life's about. The Orioles, Blue Jays have suffered long enough as underdog. The yankees have long since had the chance to shine. So have the red sox, rays. 27 is far too many. I think they've had enough with legacy maybe it's time for them to share the light.
